Surgical Training Centre Manager

BRIAN BURNETT

Brian has 20 years of experience in the fields of Pathology, forensic examination and management of surgical training environments. With extensive experience in designing and delivering national and international training events across the UK and overseas and recognised for awards in innovation and research.

Senior Technician

DAVINA COWIE

Davina has a background in nursing and pathology and is the Centre’s senior technician. From comprehensive bespoke event setup, reception, storage and disposal of training materials equipment and sterilisation, Davina will ensure your training needs are delivered seamlessly.

Professor of Clinical Anatomy

RICHARD TUNSTALL

Professor of Clinical Anatomy and Imaging for Warwick Medical School and Director of Clinical Anatomy for the WMSTC. With extensive experience of medical course design, examinations and teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Richard is also an author, consultant and examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Events Organiser

ELAINE BLAIR

Elaine has many years of experience in research, finance and organisational management. Responsible for the course administration, registration, logistical issues and financial aspects of the course. Elaine will ensure all details of your event are taken care of, liaising with faculty, delegates, sponsors and our technical team.

Technician

LEIGH NASH

With several years experience in mechanical engineering and the catering and hospitality industry. Leigh will be there to support your training event, support with surgical equipment and advise you on all of your media requirements.

Professor of Engineering

MARK WILLIAMS

Professor Mark Williams is leader of the Product Evaluation Technologies (PET) and Metrology Research group in WMG at the University of Warwick. Managing a diverse portfolio of Research and Development projects. Mark is leading on micro CT research in collaboration with UHCW, Warwick Medical School and West Midlands Police.
