The West Midlands Surgical Training Centre (WMSTC) is a state-of-the-art training facility within UHCW NHS Trust.

Here, surgeons, trainees, allied health professionals and medical students from all specialities learn to perform operations on human cadavers, either trainees learning new principles, or expert consultants refining their techniques.

Since opening it’s doors in 2009, WMSTC has been recognised as one of the very best such centres in Europe, training thousands of surgeons and students, many from abroad, with a diverse and expanding portfolio of more than 250 courses per annum.

It is also the centre of anatomy training for Warwick Medical School students enrolled on the MBChB program.
